Firstfruits Farm is now in its fourth year as a licensed Grade A raw goat milk dairy. We sell raw goat milk by the half gallon and in 8-oz. “taster” containers. The flavor and nutrition is outstanding. If you have difficulty digesting cow’s milk, you should give raw goat’s milk a try. It is unpasteurized, so the
protein components are not denatured. You will find the taste somewhat sweeter.
Our production season now runs year round. You can find Firstfruits Farm products at the G&G Market at the Rutherford Rd. State Farmers’ Market as well as at the farm itself. In season, it is available at the Tuesday Whole Foods Farmer’s Market on Woodruff Rd.

Since it is not available year round, is raw goat milk something I can freeze for the off months?
Thanks,
Carly
Hi Carly,
It was good to hear from you. Yes, raw goat’s milk freezes easily and keeps indefinitely, according to our inspector from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Services. The texture changes slightly– it becomes a bit thicker. If you like chocolate milk, it makes a great milk shake for an afternoon pick-me-up. I drink it plain too and enjoy it just as much. Also, frozen goat’s milk can be used to make cheese, yogurt, and soap.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks again for checking in.
Janice
Thank you for the reply!
Carly
I’ll probably start purchasing raw goat milk from you in May. Do you have an address I can mapquest to see how far you are from me?
Thanks again,
Carly
Our address is 103 Wynn Circle, Greenville, SC 29617, which is just west of Furman University, off of Highway 25. Be sure to check with me when you know you are coming. Otherwise I might be in a back pasture and miss you! The goats and I take walks together during good weather. It’s a good way for them to get good browse and gives me a chance to relax a bit. I’ll look forward to seeing you in May.
Great! Thanks a lot!
